Angle Compression Transducers
GB Inspection System’s Angle Compression series of transducers are available in a range of specifications with single or twin crystal options for general purpose ultrasonic testing, flaw detection through to application specific inspections.
Angle Compression transducers are specifically designed for inspection of course grained and attenuating materials such as Austenitic Stainless steel or Duplex.
Please take a look at our range of Angle Compression transducers following the below options (Single or Twin).
For additional information or to order our transducers please contact our Sales Team at +44 (0) 121 351 5025 / [email protected] or alternatively feel free to order via our E-commerce by adding your items to the basket and then go to check-out.
Single Crystal
Ultrasonic Single Crystal transducers fulfil most of the test tasks in practice. Furthermore they are required when (in rare cases) tandem or delta technique is applied.
Twin Crystal
Twin Crystal/Dual element or TR transducers (one transmitter and one receiver) are recommended when near surface resolution (for example, detection of small defects in small depth) has to be improved and/or the sensitivity has to be “focused” to a certain depth.
