High Temperature Probes
The majority of our probes can be manufactured as a high temperature version to suit intermittent testing ranges of up to either to 200°C or 300°C.
-
Provides excellent sensitivity at high temperatures for intermittent use
-
“H” Range capable of intermittent testing up to 200°C
-
“GH” Range capable of intermittent testing up to 300°C
To purchase your probe in a High Temperature version, please select the “H” or “GH” fields from the Temperature Options on our standard range of probes.
GB Inspection Systems Ltd are the exclusive UK distributor for Sensor Networks Inc. DHT-400 ultrasonic transducer. The probe is a general-purpose sensor for measuring the remaining wall thickness on rough metal ID and OD surfaces due to the corrosion and/or erosion.
The transducer can be used intermittently (50% duty cycle) over a wide temperature range from -17.8 to 500°C (0 to 932°F) and continuously from -17.8 to 204°C (0 to 400°F) .
Typical applications include its use with common digital thickness gauges or flaw detectors on boiler/furnace tubes, pipes, tanks, vessels, structures and other safety-critical components at power plants, refineries, mid- and up-stream oil & gas assets, and chemical facilities.
Key Applications of the DHT-400:
- Thickness gauging on rough or corroded surfaces.
- For applications up to 500°C (932°F)
- Thickness gauging on pitted, curved, and irregular surfaces.
